The Hawkins Bucklew Foundation
Hawkins Bucklew Foundation empowering underserved women through entrepreneurship!
Hawkins Bucklew Handcrafted Jewelry Designs is committed to giving back to the community. Our pledge is to generate wealth-building and spirit-enriching opportunities for underserved women in our local community. Our mission is to provide professional development, mentoring services and other interactive programs that will directly impact the lives of underserved women by improving their overall economic conditions.
You can help our mission by financially supporting Hawkins Bucklew Handcrafted Jewelry Designs. For every purchase of our exclusive jewelry pieces, we will donate a percentage of those dollars towards funding our foundation and thus helping to change the lives of local Austin residents one family at a time!
The New Tomorrow Professional Development Workshop is a social business initiative financially supported by Hawkins Bucklew Handcrafted Jewelry Design. It’s purpose is to provide a creative opportunity that is rooted in an entrepreneurial environment, which is both spiritually uplifting and economically empowering. The program targets underserved women (21 years+) in the local community who are interested in the creative arena of jewelry making.
This interactive experience is offered as a 40-hour workshop which is divided into 5-hour segments over a 4-week period. Participants will meet twice a week for each sessions that will introduce them to a career as a Jewelry Maker. At the conclusion of the program participants will receive a certificate of completion and possibly an opportunity to work directly with Hawkins Bucklew Handcrafted Jewelry Designs as an independent contractor.
Giving Back isn’t what we do it’s who we are as a company!
